This object is a modification of the steel beams from the standard library. So it has all options of cutting and placement. Special feature is a cross which is drawn in section and elevations automatically. When placed side by side the fills won't merge in the section. The floorplan representation is FPCP and placement height sensitive. Also it calculates the Elastic Modus and other information automatically.

Choose a straight, L-shaped or U-shaped path for the rail. At the corners, the rail bends smoothly around a parametric radius to allow the curtains to slide smoothly. The curtains themselves may be opened or closed. For visualization, the bottom edge of the curtain fabric waves slightly in 3D. In section or elevation view the curtain fabric falls vertically. Adjust the path graphically using dynamic hotspots.

Lilla Åland is a real stalwart in the Stolab range and a favourite that has represented excellent Swedish 20th century design on many occasions. Carl Malmsten was inspired by a visit to the Finnström Church on Åland, which contained a number of stick-back chairs lined up. He drew them and after a few of his own adjustments and additions, typical of his own particular style, serial production could commence. Each back pin is grooved at both ends, providing a larger attachment area for the glue, thus increasing durability. The narrowing of the back pins upwards forms a strong, springy and comfortable back support. The hollowed top section further increases comfort. Recessed seat for greater comfort. This chair is designed for children about 3 years of age and older and has a seat height of 52 cm. The round-style Solo is a followup to our much appreciated rectangular Solo table without edging. A simple, stable table without edging that fits into most environments. Look closely at where the legs meet the table top in the milled fitting. The inside of the legs have a semi-circular cross section. The outside of the legs is slightly convex, milled to the same radius as the table top so that the shapes fit. The result is a common chair in an unusual way. The seat and backrest of the Sting Armchair is made of aluminium that is extruded in lengths up to 60 metres long. The lengths are later sliced into pieces and anodised; becoming seats and backs of chairs. As far as we know, in 2003 when we presented Sting, it was the first chair on the market where this technique was used. The seat and the backrest section are jointed together almost invisibly.
